Plastimo Marine Equipment Olympic 135 Compass with Red Card - Binnacle •

The Plastimo Olympic 135 Compass is designed for boats 30’ (9m) and larger.  This marine compass is designed in mind for sailboats that need a stead compass when keeling and adverse weather conditions arise.  This compass has a criisp red card and 5° graduations are easy to read.  One fore-and-aft line plus four lubberlines for excellent visibility from any angle.  Horizontal-read flat cards are slightly dished for improved readability.  Spring-mounted directional system for maximum absorption of shock and vibration.  Accurate at up to 45° of heel.  Tunnel rods provide access to the built-in compensator via the binnacle.  Viton® diaphragm allows fluid expansion and contraction to prevent bubble formation.  Includes 12V/24V double lighting (2 bulbs), built-in compensation and installation template.  Articulated hood doubles as a sunshield/nightshield and protective cover—slides fully open, partially open and closed with audible click-stops.  Optional binnacles fit standard pedestals; mounting kits for other pedestals are available.
