MM-04 Defender Half Hull Model (1895):

The Defender (1895) successfully defended the America's Cup against Lord Dunvaven's Valkyrie III in 1895. She was designed by the famous N. G. "Nat" Herreshoff and was owned by J. P. Morgan and William Vanderbilt for the New York Yacht Club. She was the forerunner to the famous J Boats of the 1930s. This boat is beautifully depicted in our Adordage Nautical Half Hull.
