Secure Internet Online Ordering

Customers can shop and purchase on our website with assurance, knowing that we’ve taken the security and safety measures needed to keep customers’ personal contact information safe. We use PayPal as our secure payment processor. By using PayPal hosted checkout, our system doesn't store any sensitive payment information such as card number or banking account data.

Sales Tax

OceanFare is required to collect sales tax on purchases shipped into the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Payment Options

  • Paypal Express

Coupons and Promotions

  • Promotion pricing, coupons, and discounts must be used at time of purchase.
  • Promotion pricing, coupons and discounts are valid only for the duration of the promotion.
  • Promotions, discounts, sales or coupons cannot be combined.


Orders can be cancelled up until the shipping of the order. Once the non-furniture order has shipped, the return policy applies. Decorative wooden and fiberglass lighthouses and mailboxes as well as any custom items are excluded from this policy because they are specialty made items. Cancellation of these orders must be made within 48 hours or before they ship, whichever comes first.


Customers ordering online often wonder about the shipment of their purchase. Time of delivery and method of shipment depends on the products that you order.

When you order a product at OceanFare, we direct the product to be shipped from our vendor directly from their warehouse to your designated shipping address. Typically, products ship within three business days. More specific information can be found on the product pages for our products. Depending on your location, delivery can take between two to seven business days from the time of shipping. If there is a delay in your shipment, we will notify you by phone or email.

We cannot ship most items to a P.O. Box.


At OceanFare, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority.

Damaged Products

Please be sure to thoroughly check your purchase when you receive it. Look for signs of damage to be sure that it has arrived safely. If you receive a product and see that it has been damaged during shipping, please refuse the shipment, and tell the shipper to return it to its sender. If this is the case, notify us at customerservice@oceanfare.com, and we will replace your order at no additional cost to you.

Defective or Wrong Products

If you see that you have received a product that is different than what you have ordered, we will replace it at no additional cost to you. If possible, tell the shipper to simply return it to the sender. If you discover the manufacturer's defect after the shipper has left, please notify us at customerservice@oceanfare.com and we will make arrangements to have the product picked up and replaced at no additional cost to you. You must inform us of any defects within five days of receiving your purchase. Photographs may be required as proof of defect.

Other Reasons

In all other cases except for those mentioned above, please contact us at customerservice@oceanfare.com to obtain an authorization for return. Unless the product is defective, we charge a 15% restocking fee plus all shipping costs on returns of items. We cannot accept returns on personalized items, special order items, custom items, or items damaged through normal wear and tear and some outdoor furniture and accessories.

We want to remain at this level, so if something goes wrong, we want to know about it and make it right, just as soon as possible. In the event of a dispute regarding an item made by a third party woodworker that you purchased through OceanFare that is not resolved through the limited warranty, occurs outside of the limited warranty period, is not covered by the limited warranty or involves any other dispute, you must resolve such dispute directly with the manufacturer. Any dispute or claim relating in any way to any products sold or distributed through OceanFare will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement. The venue for any dispute hereunder shall be in Sarasota County, Florida or the place of business of a third party manufacturer, as the case may be. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, we each waive any right to a jury trial.  By using any OceanFare service, you agree that the Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal law, and the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms and Conditions and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and OceanFare. For any dispute hereunder, the prevailing party shall be entitled to receive a reimbursement for fees and costs, including attorney’s fees, arbitration fees and costs, and court costs, if any.  Please review our other policies posted on this site. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, terms of service, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Consent to Receive Communication

By creating an account, setting up a wishlist or purchasing from us, you agree that you may receive email communications from OceanFare, which may include newsletters, promotions, helpful tips, or updates on your order or account. You also understand that you can remove yourself from these communications by clicking the Email Preferences link in the footer of the emails you receive.

You also agree that you may receive phone calls from us regarding your product interests or purchases. Our goal is to help you with your furniture decisions and to make your purchasing experience the best possible.

Customers may not use content from OceanFare to send unsolicited advertising, promotional material, or other forms of solicitation.

The OceanFare website is to only be used for lawful intentions. We set aside the right to ban or eliminate behavior or communication that we feel is hurtful and destructive to users, OceanFare or violates the law. OceanFare, our partners, employees and merchants shall assume no liability for any action or inaction with respect to conduct, communication or contact on the OceanFare website. Website users are prohibited from posting or transmitting through OceanFare any unlawful, harmful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind.
